The Government of A.P. promoted A.P. State Export and Import Corporation Ltd. (APSEIC) on 5.6.1970 as a trading firm to facilitate import and export trade in the State. The APSEIC was subsequently named as AP State Trading Corporation (APSTC) on 31.01.1972. APSTC was started with the primary objective to promote exports. During the year 2006-07 the Corporation has undergone major organizational reforms and restructuring. In the process of restructuring, the corporation was renamed as AP Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd. to playa catalytic role In promotion of trade and industry In the State of A.P. TSTPC Ltd is incorporated on 27.09.2014 after state reorganization.
- Trade promotional activities like conducting and participating in National and international trade exhibitions, seminars taking and receiving trade delegations, providing export guidance to the trade and industry and dissemination of export and import information.
- Establishment of Logistic and Trade Promotional Infrastructure like Container Freight Stations, Inland Container Depots, Cold Storage Plants, Warehouses, Free Trade Warehousing Zones, Logistic Hubs, Truck Parking Terminals, Trade Fair Complexes with Exhibition and Convention Centers.
- Manufacture and sale of “Golkonda” brand note books and Plain Copier Paper both in the Government sector and in the open market.
