Telangana has abundant resources and vast potential for exports from the state through value edition. The potential sectors for exports include IT/ITES, Engineering items, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals and allied Chemicals and plastics, Animal, Marine and Leather Products, Agriculture and Agro based Products, Minerals and Mineral Products, Handlooms, Handicrafts, Textiles, Germs and Jewelry and Electrical items. In order to promote exports from the state, TSTPC has established “Export Guidance and Documentation Center, Global Database Center” in its Head Office for providing Guidance to the Expoters.

Export Guidance and Documentation Center

The Export Guidance Centre will provide guidance to exporters for their export operation include

  • Export Promotion Councils, commodity Boards and their functions.

  • Government Schemes for promotion of Exports

  • Information on infrastructure/ Govt. Departments/ Industrial Association

  • Study Reports/Trade Trends
  • Facilitation Centre – Printing/Binding/Fax/Internet/Scanning documents.

Global Database Center

Global Database Center of TSTPC will process the Global Trade data from the top World Trade related institution like WTO, WITS, UNCTAD, FAO and also data from Director General Commercial Intelligence and Statistics and build database as per the requirement of states’ export potential and provide to the exporters for improving the export business and market strategy from time to time.

A licensed software called ‘Tradesiff’ developed by the University of Sussex, UK is used to analyze the global market trends which provide the movement of goods from one country to another country and Relative Comparative Analysis (RCA) of a particular product to facilitate the exporters to excel their export performance.

TSTPC will establish a Trade Information Center under the guidance of National Council for Trade Information (NCTI). This center will act as one stop shop as exporters can explore the most emerging trade opportunities through Electronic Trade Opportunities (ETO’s).
